I am going to give the sweet cheeks a whirl...
I read that dynobob uses the 6.5" version.
Any other riders out there use a different size?

I used a sweet cheeks on my LC4 and TE610. IMHO, they're just too wide. The pockets are built for a 2 liter bottle. That makes the seat so wide it was hard to get my legs to the ground even though I have a 34" inseam.

Still have it, but if I used it for the KLX I would modify it to take something smaller on the outriggers.

I bought the 7" size because that's the width of the top of my seat (2006). If you have a later model, the seat may be a different width.

Instead of the Coke bottles, I use rolled up 1/2" closed cell foam as the inserts. That way, I was able to get just the right amount of support by trying different lengths of foam.

I used them when I did a combined SS1000 (1000 miles in 24 hours) and BB1500 (1500 miles in 36 hours). I had absolutely no seat issues. I don't use them for normal riding, though.

Thumbs up

thanks Ron. I ordered the 7" today and will get to use it on a long weekend trip later this month.
