I have ridden bikes before but this is the first one I've owned. Its a 2006 klx 250. Today I was riding and while going through an intersection and hitting a small bump I heard a noise like something was rubbing up against the tire or it bottomed out. After that any little bump I hit makes the same noise with a lil vibration on the back tire. I just had my rear tire taken off to have the inner tube replaced about 4 days ago. Could it be that they did something to mess up my suspension, or does it just need a little readjustment, or did I break something? Nothing seemed to be broken when I checked it out. hope someone can help, I wanna get back to riding asap.

 

Check your pivot (suspension components) and wheel bearings.

 

Could be just about anything. chain guard, shock, tire on wheel wrong, chain, sprockets, brakes.

 

I'd be concerned about the flat fix resulting in something not reinstalled properly or not adjusted properly. Chain tension comes to mind as a likely suspect.

 

Spacers installed on wrong sides?

If your not a mechanic, take it back to where you had the tire done and have them take a look at it. It sounds like they may not have had the 'A' team on it.

 

Didn't have the A-team on it? I can't believe you'd suggest such a thing. I'm relatively sure the shop foreman himself did the work on that flat.
