This has happened a few times now. It's not consistent. Every time it's been in 5th gear at around 8k RPM, going uphill or against the wind. The bike just stops pulling like it's missing ignition or fuel every other power stroke. I shift either up or down and keep going. This only happens every few days. 2018 with EJK tuner.
Any ideas?

 

From what I remember reading I think there is some kind of electronic gimickry on the FI bikes that limits revs in 5th and 6th? I think you have to disconnect a wire or jump a connection with a wire to disable that "feature". I'm thinking it was in the left handlebar switch gear.
