Surging?

i can almost guarantee the surging is a lean condition. when i started to mod my bike i knocked the baffles out of the stock exhaust and dropped the larger air snorkel in it. after these mods the bike had a noticable surge from the lean condition i created (in the 7000RPM area). in ur situation with no mods id bet the cold air coupled with the extent of the leanness that this bike has from the factory is causing it. try a rejet.

I was just thinking, that tonight felt about the coldest I have ever riden. I will keep my mind open to that & see if the next time I ride ther eis a change.

i think what we're all trying to say is that you shouldn't be concerned.you didn't break anything and themotor isn't going toexplode.
