Supermoto wheels for my KLX250
I searched high and low for supermoto wheels for my 2006 KLX250. Even stumbled onto this forum for some direction. The D-Tracker is cool but the wheels are too skinny and you can't get any parts in Canada anyway. I contacted this shop vancouversupermoto.com. They took my bike apart and measured the axles and bearings... spacers and set me up with 3.5" and 4.25" 17" supermoto wheels. billet hubs and all, green nipples, supermoto brakes. Chek out my new KLX250 supermoto!!! cComplete withmy new wheels arestreet tires, hand guards and front fender.

Can I ask what they charged ya for that setup? I do 90% road riding, and need real traction when I do go off road. I'm thinking my ultimate setup would be 2 sets of wheels, one for my daily driving, and then the knobbies for the off road fun. I'm thinking the only problem with my plan is the $$$ that another set of wheels/tires would run me.
Bike looks good!

OOPS! I guess your're 1/2" wider on the front and 1/4" wider on the rear, my bad. It really doesn't look that much different though and I'll bet I can do as good or better than you on the track or twisties

Mywheels were $1500 CDN, the front fender is Acerbis, going to add the EBC supermotorotor when it gets in in the next few days..
There nothing available so these guys down at Vancouver Supermoto had to custom make them for me.
