Default rotor

Hey what rotor is that on front wheel, and where did you get it? Was is direct fit or did you have to work it? I have not been able to find a larger front rotor for the front with out having to have it machined.

Thanks,

Dan

Hey Sideways1, EBC P/N: SM6330. That's for the 320mm oversize rotor kit for '06-'07 KLX250S. Look right above the highlighted line towards the bottom of the pic below. This was taken from the 2010 EBC catalog. No machining required, just a longer brake line.

I really am interested if they will fit an 09. I am pretty sure the rear of 06-07 are same as 09 but is there something different in the speedo?

The speedo on the 06-07 is gear driven, there's a little ring with teeth on it in the front hub that turns the speedo cable that runs up to the speedometer display. The 09 has a little doo-dad in the hub that turns and allows for a magnetic pick-up reading that the gauge cluster turns into a speed display. So, ones a mechanical type linkage while the other is electronic.

I have seen this part number but so far no one in the states can get it for me.
Thanks,

Dan

The 2009 speedo will work on the older hubs. I had KLX650 hubs on my 09 and it worked fine.
