Default SuperMotard?

Hmmm, looks fun to me! I looked at a few KTMs that came with extra wheels, I guess it would be like having two sweet bikes. Anyway, check this kid out:

Ya I've seen that one, I hope he changed the gearing on that bike to take it out on the street.

Kinda looks like he put a set of Avon Distanzas on the bike. I would guess a 19 inch front rim - probably Excel and perhaps a 17 inch rear rim to get that look. I must say, it looks quite cool!

It would not surprise me to see more KLX's in supermoto competition as the sport grows here in the US.

Since my KLR250 mostly sits, the thought of converting it to a supermoto crossed my mind at least 1,000,000,000,000,000 times.

I wouldn't mind considering this if it's a straight wheel and gearing swap only and wasn;t too expensize. I'm guessing the wheels, tires and new sporckets will run around $800-1200. More than I'm interested in spending.

I also wouldn't mind doing this also (who am I kidding, I would LOVE to do this) I saw sombody post on this or some other site that they sell the KLX with supermoto wheels installed in Japan but call the bike a D-Tracker. I am just wondering if people can order just the wheel set so that they can just be bolted on.

I would imagine that it might be cheaper than having them built here.
