I don't know, deej...there are different priorities for different people...and I don't mean the toy hauler aspect of toting machines in the back. Oddly it was my wife who wanted a toy hauler to replace our old 18 year old travel trailer of the same size. The reason...room...and not for hauling toys. Just like many people like the "open concept" in a home, most toy haulers provide that open concept living in an RV. Yes, you need a decently sized kitchen, bedroom, and bath...along with some adequate storage...but rather than those old "lounge" area seating concepts in many RVs, an open area where you use chairs or loungers of your own choice in a place of your choice can be a welcome departure. Now, this isn't as big an issue with tons of slideouts and such, but then you usually get an RV that gets porkier and porkier, requiring a bigger and bigger truck.

Everything's a compromise, and there's no way one design safisfies all, but we have thoroughly enjoyed the toy hauler concept for more than just the ability to haul toys. And opening up that big back door when weather and conditions allow is like having a built-in patio...even has a roll-down screen door.

Oh...and Dan...it's a tough life camping out there in the boonies as a loser in the back of the ol' RV...but someone's got to do it.

I was just correcting Deej, since he ironically spelled losers wrong in his thread title. :O

Nice rigs, all of them, for sure.

Deej has big shoulders, I'm pretty sure he can handle a little ribbing. Besides, he started it!

Got back Sunday after 4 days at the in-laws an hour away, it was really nice having our own place while visiting.

Ordering one of these with the tax return, I need to raise the trailer up 2 inches and reduce the tail wagging a little.
