Default which street tires for 250S

Need recommendations on tires, front and rear... My Dunlop 606 are nearly worn out, too much on-road riding at moment..

Looking at 80% - 100% street bias tires....Whats the best brand and size to buy ?..........Nothing really expensive though, I would appreciate any input...

I heard Shinko 705's were good for the money.

Kenda K270. Cheap and long lasting, a decent road tire and still works well enough for light off road excursions.

I would put a K761 0n the rear, and K270 on the front. I always go a little more aggressive on the front for a few reasons. They last longer, and if you ever do go off road, you'll appreciate a better front.

Full disclosure: I have no experience with the Shinko 705, but I do run Shinko 700s on my SF. Based on my experience with the 700s, I would not hesitate to try the 705s if I was looking for something more street-oriented (as it sounds like you are). At the price-point, you have little to lose!

In the past, I have been devoted to Metzeler, but they have become increasingly over-priced through Canadian retailers, so I have moved away from them and sought out better value with Shinko, and I have been very pleased with the results.

I have never tried the kendra, but I am very impressed with the metzeler enduro 3 sahara's .. no head wobble at freeway speeds and great traction in deep sand.. but they are expensive.. no idea how fast they wear down yet

Running the Kenda K761's. Haven't had any issue on them so far. Much better on the road versus the stock tires.
