There is a ride for each occasion. (Although I am still looking for my klx)

Fast is fun, but only if it is safely accomplished. When I get smoked while on my lil ninja's, I am not bummed. I still enjoy carving up the curves on the small rides.

Seems to me, the majority of vehicles (2 wheel and 4 wheel) I observe going fast are NOT vehicles I would be going "fast" on, especially the 4 wheel variety. I'm not saying fast is stupid; I'm saying fast on abused and neglected hardware is stupid. Some scary people and machinery out there. I want NO part of that.

real riding isn't a drag race in the open track...i don't mind a bike launching off a green light...is that suppose to impress me?....if it was a little 150 cc turbo pitbike with nos taking off, that would impress me...hahahaha...the klx250sf does what it is intended to do...good gas mileage, nimble on the road, doesn't bottom out in san francisco hills, rides up and down stairways and sidewalks, and gets me where i need to go.....

Well... you do know Volkswagon's commercials do say "Drivers Wanted"

and seeing how most VWs are driven - they're right, 'cause the people in them clearly aren't!

Might want to rethink that strategy... there are some crazy people out there...

I still contend my strategy is sound. There will always be riders crazy enough or good enough to take me up on it, which would be the best part of it anyway! Erik may not always be first to the two-mile mark. But I'm sure he had fun trying.

Nothing on the road matches the acceleration of a modern crotch rocket. They really are that fast and very fun. Trouble is that that is all they do, a one trick pony.
