Default stock carb question / jetting

I have the Big Gun full system, K&N air filter, and jet kit and thats all i really look to do performance wise on my bike....I have been reading that people drill out holes in the carb? do i have to do that to the stock carb to rejet it? Or is that just a (free) mod? i have had dirtbikes and atv's in the past and have never had to drill out anythingto rejet... OR i could of read every single thread for the 250s and now my head is spinning and people could of been drilling out something else lol....This is my first Kawasaki and i just want to be able to ride it more than working on it thanks

If you installed a "jet kit" you should have already done it per the kit instructions.

The only two things we're drilling on the carb is the slide lift hole (enlarging it) and the fuel mixture (EPA) plug so it can be removed.

No, you don't have to drill out the jets - just replace them.

Yes. As mentioned the slide lift hoel & the cover over the fuel screw. Search for the procedures. If you buy an actual "jet kit" it comes with all you need & instructions.
