Default stock 250s bar width
can someone PLEASE post how many inches stock 09 and later 250s bars are across in width?

As near as I can measure it, mine is 31.5" wide. But it has been tweaked, so it might be off. I'm planning to replace with something stronger...

Stock bar, bare, undamaged = 31.25" wide.

I ordered a set of protaper kx high bend bars with universal adapters.. going to cut the bars to be exactly as wide as stock.. cant wait for this mod

Yeah that was with the grips.

I still haven't decided what bars I'm going to get...

Don't be in a hurry to cut them, try the full width for a while. You JUST might LIKE it. Once you've cut them there's no going back.

I've put the pro taper contour woods low (30.5") and I love them in thight woods!

I picked up a Pro Taper Contour in the Carmichael bend with the Pro Taper universal mount and Pro Taper Pillow Top Lite grips today...
