I'm beaming in from Afghanistan via a sat. dish a little bigger around than our front rim and this site seems to be as fast or slow as any other for me. I'm running Mozilla Firefox on a Vista OS laptop. Check your anti-virus. If its scanning your incoming traffic, it could slow things down.

 

Ya'll must be re re's because I've never had a problem with the site.

 

If i have a bug it is only affecting my KF traffic. The rest of the www is running as fast as ever. I just went and fired up the kids puter (XP IE7 DSL) and have the same problem, and that puter has a different anitvirus program. ????

I also had issues with the site, but they seem to have gone away for the most part. I did have to adjust how I reply to threads...now I just enter my comments and click "post quick reply" and it works everytime. If you click "new rply" you're just asking for trouble IMO. Hope that helps u out a bit.

 

Actually I am still having issues...I tried to post a new thread last night, but couldn't...grrrrrrrrr.

 

Everyone try clearing out your cache and temp Internet files. Of try going to the site and logging on from a computer that you have never used. That will tell us if there is a registry problem, or if something is cached on your machine that is causing the problem. Also clear out cookies. I know that this is a hassle because it might clear out some stuff like saved passwords, and user names on different sites, but its good to do this occasionally anyway.

I browse with IE and FF and have never had issues. It has to be the browsing settings.

Go to tools>internet options

& adjust your settings.
