Default starting problems

whats up fellas, so I got back (last sunday) from riding andput the bike up. I have not washed it and the dam thing wont fire up!!! I have bypassed the kickstand switch, bypassed the clutch switch. I have removed the plug and held it up against the frame whilst turning the engine over - no spark.....? I have check every fuse and connection - no spark!!!!

The only electrical MOD the bike has is LED turn signals and the plate holder removed....

Does anyone have an idea.....?

many thanks

So still going at it trying to find the problem, are there any hidden fuses under the tank...? I have changed the 20amp main fuse, checked all connections, checked the other two tube fuses ( all under the seat) ....... anybody have a clue why the B*745&* won't fire...?

Did you change the sparkplug, or check if there was crud in the sparkplug boot? Check that the sparkplug wire is firmly connected/bolted as well.

as bryantjt said, make sure the plug is good, then I'd checkall of the connectors in the CDI and coil area and plug wires up to the plug itself to see if any came unplugged or became corroded. Good luck and let us know what u find.

the update on the very expensive paper weight so far that it still does not run!!!! I have checked every connection, I even got the multi meter out and found that there is no power going to the coil.... so now where do I look..?
Unfortunately I am in Honduras where a Kawi dealer is no where to be found, but that does not seem to matter by the sounds of things as they are usless anyway.......
The plug is as clean as the day it was installed and there is no crud around the cable.......or connection..!

ahhh...now I am lost?

If all the wires are connected and tight then it could be a beat CDI. Or some other component in the ignition system
