Stainless Spokes and After Market Rims
Hey Guys,
Can someone recommend an website that sells aftermarket rims and stainless spokes? Can't seem to find any that will specify the KLX 250S.Couple postings here say the the KDX is interchangable, but I want to make sure.
Safety tip: Was going about 70 mph yesterday, my back tire started hopping (like a car tire severly out of balance). Tire blew out. Turns out the tube was folded inside the tire. I knew this because the tube had fold creases on it, and the failure was right along the crease. I guess the heat caused the tube to fail. If your front or rear tire bounces at high rpm, it might the tube not seated properly. Don't wait. Fix it.
Thanks.

On a related note... I have heard of people with issues where anomalies in the tire carcass cause the tube to "crawl" slowly around, eventually causing the type of binding that you describe, or a ripped valve stem.
I'm wondering if my front D606 might be doing that... Or maybe it's just slipping due to low pressure and no rimlock.
I had to remove it and remount it last week because of a hump in the tube. (severe jumping while riding highway speed)
