Hi all,

As most of the people on this forum are from the U.S. I thought I'd post up a few pictures of the type of terrain I ride my KLX around here in South Australia. Over the weekend my father-in-law and I went for a ride in the Southern Flinder's Ranges in South Australia. All the photos were taken on the same day in which we covered about 180kms. The riding was very diverse from steep rocky hill tracks to beach riding to mud.

The bikes we took were my '06 KLX-250R (with 300cc kit) and a '05 DR-650

It was a cold start to the day:

Down on the coast we encountered a little mud!

We then headed along the coast in the dunes where there were some great tracks (if you like the sand!)

Then headed back inland through some of the creek/channel country with the BIG river gums:

The trip back over the ranges in the afternoon was quite pretty:

This was a great track which actually got pretty steep and rocky in a few spots. Great fun on the KLX!

I live in florida i dont no what a hill is.I think we might have a hill of sand.

 

Those are great, droflet! Thanks for sharing those. I only dream of riding like that around here.
