Thumbs up Sorry Guys/Girls, I bailed out!

Well, yesterday I traded my 09 KLX250s for a brand new 09 DRZ400sm. So, its off to Suzuki Land for me. You folks are great, and this forum is one of the best for which I've been a member. Please be careful on those roads and trails! I will be searching for a Suzuki Motard forum now, and can only hope when I find one, that it could be as informative as this site has been. Take care and HAVE A SAFE NEW YEAR!!!

Pete

Or get the dirt set and have the best of both worlds. That is my plan.

Thumbs up Okay, its a deal

Okay people. I will be posting a picture of my new bike within the next few days, since Ive not taken a picture of it yet. But I do have 35 miles now on the odometer.
Its weird, I rode it to work today, and nobody even checked it out. Even though I have not twisted the throttle more than 1/4 or so, "Wow!, this bike has lots of torque. " However, I will be a good boy, and hold off beating on it until it gets about 500 miles, and my first oil change. I can hardly wait!

There's nothin to the motard part. Just find a good DRZ forum; there should be plenty. Visit Eddie Sisneros (sp?) over at Thumper Talk. He regularly gets between 55 and 60hp out of the DRZ...lots of engine knowledge from that guy.

Anyway, good luck with the new machine and +1 that you don't have to be a stranger just because you changed bikes. Heck, we even had a guy switch to orange, then take over the place!

Good luck with your DRZ. It looks like a great bike. What's the weight?
