I don't really want green but I'm keen to try to make one of these fit to see if it's possible.

 

Not me. I knew you wanted it and I also wanted to see what it takes for it to fit to bike. Looks like it can be had pretty cheap. What does a new one cost anyway?

 

I guess you could post the price of a new one in about an hour and a half.

 

Went too rich for my blood given that it was green (I want the natural so I can see how much gas is in there).

MSRP on the IMS tank is $225 but several sites list them for $199 (if they have them in stock).

 

Not me either, I'm going a different route...much like the tour-tank just with a 1 gallon tank and letting the seat carry the extra weight and using the OEM rack to stabilize. I figure 2.9 gallons is enough and if/in conjuction with the MSR fuel bottles in the Pelican it would be quite a range...my problem is i'm off to vacate for 3 weeks and wont get to play with it until I return in march.
