Date: 2009-04-29, 1:49PM PDT2006 Kawasaki KLX 250S WA Street Legal - $750 ( Greenwater)

2006 Kawasaki KLX 250S WA Street Legal Motorcycle. Currently DOES NOT RUN. This bike was lost in the White River in May 2008. It was completely submersed for 6 months before washing up in a storm. It is a street legal frame. Everything on the bike is cracked, rusted, bent, or broken. The tires had one ride on them before going in and still look great. If you have the skills or need parts, this may be a great deal for you. I do not want to piece out anything, if you want parts, make me an offer for the whole bike. I am the owner, title in hand.

Cool! I'd love to know the story behind that. How was it "lost in the White River" ??

I'm guessing it was stolen and dumped.

No I'd be willing to bet somebody got drunk and rode it in to the river and couldn't get it out until it washed up somewhere else, at which point it was recovered. The seller claims to have title-in-hand but he does not specify if it is a recovered-vehicle title. May be stolen, may not be stolen, but I'd bet it was the victim of an idiot nonetheless. Kinda high for a parts bike, though.

"Everything on the bike is cracked, rusted, bent, or broken" Hmmmm so why would you buy it? He needs to give a description of what isn't broken. Definitely like to know the story. I put my money on the stolen and dumped scenario. I bet this guy had his bike stolen and 6mo later he got a phone call from the police that said they have some good news and some bad news.

LOL...all depends on the country....personal record.. etc. etc. etc etc. etc. etc.

I guess my point is that....that dude is in the US and....he didn't have theft insurance.

What's the real story.

Honestly, ...guys, I almost died the other day. Almost fell off a 15 foot drop into a creek. I would've been fine, but if the bike would've fell on top of me?./............damn....I didn't fall down...grasped some tree branches....

Seriously, I have an entire, running car for sale for not much more than that!

Oh yeah, and I just put the full coverage insurance back on my KLX and it came to around $200/year with a $0 deductible.
