Default slab, forest and desert in 6 hrs

Went for a nice long ride today started in los angeles and headed up the 2 hwy and explored some campgrounds, fireroads and a hiking trail came out on the other side of the forest in wrightwood. From there i took the 138 which was so windy i thought the bike was get ripped from under me so i veered off on to the network of desert trails thru pinion hills and up to the 14 finding some fun riding areas and cool desert stretches. I then headed back thru the forest and made my way home. it was a great ride with a little bit of everything.

360 pano of the forest
360 pano of off road area i stumbled upon
360 pano from hwy 2

That's a little like southern Utah. In less than an hour you can be in heavy forest or desert canyon. I like terrain like that. Those 360 pics are psychedelic.

pogiboy - yes it was my first time going out to wrightwood on bike and headed up twords the 14. I rode alone and with gps. Next time we should ride together, I did go down once in some deep sand and broke my hand guard.. better than a clutch lever i guess. It was a pretty unexpected mission.

Wow, I miss LA sometimes. Those are nice pix. The selection of terrain around the basin is awesome.

That would be great. I also ride alone. We'll schedule it . For now my bikes going to the shop for rejet , exhaust etc.

Yeah, better the handguard than the lever. It already paid itself that instant. My bikes even though 2 month old barely 3 looks beaten due to frequent drops, slide on the sand / rocks lol.

What gps you use. If it's garmin, what map pack. Thanks. Maybe you can share your route. Thanks.
