We have signs around here which read “No Exit” & “Not Suitable For Travel”; I have only ever found them to be idle threats!

We have minimum maintenance roads around here in western NE it means the state does not take care of them they don't plow them they might run a grater over them once a year, in turn the farms have begun taking them over and they look much like your photo. a road that once was a small rough 2 track is now a one track with crop on either side. Just hit the gas an go aqnd if any one asks....your just looking for the road.

We have alot of no winter maintenance signs, usually means good riding on the KLX and in the winter means get ready to put chains on all 4 tires.

I saw a sign in extreme western ks or extreme eastern colorado that read no fuel next 75miles. Luckily I had enough diesel!

I love seeing everyone's off-road pictures! i chuckled at the leaves- i don't think there are enough in this whole state to ever cover the road. If it did, the wind would blow them all away. I questioned my own wisdom on that ride because I really had no idea where I was going or where the road would end up. I figured I could always turn around and go back if it got too bad. The worst part was a section where it appeared they had just laid down a fresh layer of gravel; felt like it wanted to swallow me up. I think if I had run across a bear on my venture, I would have had a mess much like that to clean up when I got home. Here the real possibility would be a moose or a mountain lion. Winter may start any day now; I really hope to get out somewhere over labor day weekend if time permits.
