I use the MSR Pro raptor shorty, super beefy lever and mount. Got it from www.rockymountainatv.com
Ditto....I did the same thing from the same place...love the lever.
I use the same one as well [8D]

ive never ridden a bike with one of these "shorty" levers..... i dont know if i would like it.... maybe it the clutch was easier to pull.... looks different.... so thats why u guys get these to only use a few fingers for it?

Eric,
Get it, you'll like it and with the ASV the pivot point is extended out away from the bar which makes the lever easier to pull then simply replacing the stock lever and gives the clutch a much better feel.

Once you try it you'll never go back.

mmmmm....... i just might have to get one over winter.... i have to wait to convince the wife i need a new lever or ill just order it.... better to ask for forgiveness than for permission.....

The asv is pricy.... is there a cheaper one that is still good quality.... i have hand guards so im not worried about bending it....

The MSR was low to mid $50 range if I remember right. Since we're posting pics, here's one of mine.

I have a Moose shorty replacement for a klx300. I will probably upgrade to a complete lever system though because I would like the lever a little shorter and want the lighter pull than just a shorter stock lever. I also took the stock brake lever off and cut the ball off of the end, then cut 3/4 of an inch out of the lever and tig welded the ball back on so I would have clearance under the hand guards. +1 on what truckman said about soldering the wires together on the clutch safety.

ALSO...The MSR lever has 3 positions to put the cable into to change your lever pull ratio for making it easy or HARD........It does make a huge difference as i did run with each position to se what i liked best.....E-Z is what worked best for me after all......lol I will never switch from what i have unless it is to a hydraulic clutch.

Here's the one I had, the shorty's are great, I like it a lot:

In addition to easier pull, the lever doesn't smash your other fingers which remain on the grip.
