Default shift star mod

Does anyone that did the shift star mod happen to know the diminsions of the aluminum dowel used on the tension spring?

Maybe 3/4 inch long, less than 1 inch. Diameter about the size of a Sharpie pen or so. FourStrokeWorks website has a pic. Might be an inch long, I did mine some time ago.

It was worth the time. No more popping out of gear. Feels like it shifts more solid.
