Sorry, I don't mean any disrespect to oldphart, but his posts are a trip!

I know what he's going through. I lost my dad when I was 8. My older brother and I had just gotten our second dirt bike, a 1975 XR75. I don't remember, but we must have gotten it for free because the kickstarter was broken off, and it had no gas tank or exhaust. My dad sourced a tank, gave it a custom blue paint job, and fabbed up a straight pipe exhaust so we could ride it. We never fixed the kickstarter, we just rolled it down the 'hill' in front of our house and pop-started it. That **** was awesome. I would LOVE to have a picture of that bike.
