Supply and demand,a bike like that would draw near $5000 out west! Good luck on your sale, I know about changes I sold my 52 Studebaker to buy my KLX

Hey chris, just to let you and anyone else know, there will be a XR650, and a KLR650 at the North East ride..... so if you still can bring that big pig up.

Thanks, Eric. If the stars align and I sell the KLX in time, I may just do that. I already have my eye on a couple of KLR's, so once I have cash in hand, it won't be long before I have the new bike.

Well, the good news is, the bike is sold. The bad news is, the bike is sold.
There's more good news, though. My bike is staying "in the family" just like Nobrakes bike. Another forum member, DivoDave, knew a raging good deal when he saw one and decided to jump on it. He has been great to work with and I am really glad that the bike is going to someone who already knows and appreciates it.
I will be delivering the bike to Nobrakes on Saturday. He has graciously offered to allow my bike to bunk with his orange beast in the back of his Ford F-One-Fiddy for the drive up to the NJ rally. DivoDave will take delivery of his new bike at the rally. I guess that means that there will be two alumni bikes at the rally.
I think it is interesting to point out that we now have 2 people that have bought a KLX and liked it so much that they put their money where their mouths are and bought another one. For the KLX haters out there, I think that should speak volumes.
Like others have done, I will post pics of the new bike when I get one. I expect that to be in the next few days. I have it narrowed down to one of 3 KLR650's.
