Default Seat strap mod?

hey guys and gals,
So I have the 2009 version of our beloved klx250. I am a large guy 6'7 220 pounds. When riding around my nunber one dislike about this bike is the seat strap. I really don't mind the stock seat except for the strap running through it. I am curious if anyone has any easy modification that makes the bike more comfortable. I want to just cut the damn thing off but I understand that the seat is held on by the strap. Anyway if you have any info please let me know!
Enjoy safe riding,
sam

Sam!
Lucky for you, you are wrong! The seat is not held on by that strap and all you need to do is remove the seat (two bolts that secure the rear of the side plastics) and then remove the strap. It is also only held on by two fasteners.

Being as tall as you are, I can see how the strap may be an issue. A lot of us remove just to get it out of the way. As far as seat comfort goes, if you are seeking more, the Seat Concepts seats are inexpensive and well liked! When you order, they can offer different foam densities to accommodate your specific weight and age.
I don't work for Seat Concepts, I just use their product!
TC!

Thanks again for shipping that strap out. There are a few good people left in the world!
