What? I thought you had thicker skin than that.

Congrats on the trophy, looks like you had fun.

I like hearing about and seeing all of the KLX riders photos and reports, but I for one like reading about ANYONE'S dual sport rides regardless of what make of bike they ride.
Keep the photos and reports comin.

Thanks, Dan. But it seems there have been several complaints about a couple of my ride reports here recently. They are hard enough to put together than to catch grief for it here - just not worth it. My fault, though ... times change, gotta keep up I guess. Personally, I don't care what bike anyone rides, as long as you ride. That's just me, though. But this is a KLX forum, so people seem to want KLX only ride reports. That's cool.

If anyone is interested in the vid, it will be on ADVrider in the Racing section. It is just a few minutes away from the upload completion. Full first lap, uncut - it is not pretty. I'll do a highlight vid in a few days of lap 2 where it gets even worse.

Hmmmm OK I hope you mean "official" complaints, not just some guy making a comment about an orange bike with a smiley after it.

Great video! The mud looks like it was challenging to say the least.

No way man! dont quit posting here because of a couple people with orange envy! Anybody who's been here awhile knows what an asset you are to this forum. I personaly really enjoy your helmet cam videos no matter what the color of the bike..... hell, my Kawi is red! Anybody got a problem with that?

Well, further in my defense, there is actually a KLX component on my KTM, remember this? lol

Before:

After:

That's a genuine Kawasaki KLX250S part that I had fitted into my ignition cover to make valve checks easier. So while it may not be a whole KLX, there is some KLX in it.

NB, keep posting! Where in NC are you? This ride reminds me of one I rode back in 83. (gosh that was forever ago). It was so muddy, and we had to cross a field that had been plowed and the only way you could keep the front wheel somewhat on the top of the ground was by sitting on the rear fender. I think I made two laps and won the 250 class. My buddy was riding a 175 and made more laps and didn't even trophy. He was ticked to say the least. They called this ride a cross country back then. The "Black Snake Croos Country" It's one of my most memoriable rides. Thanks again for the posts.
