Default Scott Skid Plate

I'm thinking of getting one of these

What do you guys think? Are there better ones out there?

That looks as good as any that I've looked at..and it's about $10-20 cheaper. I don't think you could go wrong with it. The only thing I've seen nicer was one made of carbon fiber..but it's $130 and appears to only be for the KX250F. Does anyone know if any of the KX250F parts will work on our bikes..such as skid plates, etc..

Looks awesome. Hopefully they ship up to the Great White North.

Yeah I saw that too. Way cool! I don't know how practical carbon fiber is for a skid plate though.

The picture is for some other bike. I'd be careful to ask for a detailed photo or description to verify it is really a wrap-around design for the KLX250. As far as I know, only CRD in France makes such a unit and they're $129 if you can find them.

Yes I noticed that too. They have a photo of a ringadingding. I will shoot them a email to make sure. If it is a wraparound, I think it's a must buy at that price.

Edit: I shot an email to Scott directly. Hopefully I'll hear back from them. Some companies are great and some never resopnds as you guys probably know.

BTW, I noticed they had a blowout on those gorgeous sharkfins to fit the KLX250 '94-'96. Will it fit our bike?

Smurph,
A shark fin is a fin on the back of an ocean dwelling man eater. It provides him with more speed and accuracy to catch, and eat, your sorry ***. [sm=icon_ladiesman.gif] I apologize for the lame attempt at humor. I don't know what the hell it is either. [sm=loser.gif][sm=WTFsgign.gif]
