I just clicked on an google ad on this site for Babbits Sports Center. They had good prices on new plastics for my 04 klr 250. Everything new for $370. Then you had to give all info before checking out only to see that shipping was $270! Didn't have to give a cc # but they get your e-mail address.

I REALLY enjoy reading this forum! I'm looking at a new klx...... getting close to going for it. It was 83 degrees in oklahoma today. Rode for six hours. It's about time!! Keep postin guys, it's ALL good!

 

some dealer in OK has a brand new '06 for like $3600- I'd jump on that. it's on cycletrader.com

there's an '06 for $3475 on ebayin MI. 600 miles with some shroud decal scratches, all stock.

 

I think I'm leaning toward the 09. It sits lower and I'm not exactly a pro on the trails. (I love it though!!) I also like the comfort of the seat. Have you had any long street rides that give you an idea of how comfortable the seat is?

I bought a bike from Babbitts last year (same place?) through ebay, and have nothing but good things to say about them.
I race with a few guys who have had the same experinece.
