Said I was heading off to Church ( Sunday Ride report)
I was up early Sunday morning, but it was to late to get out to Pachaug State Park for a 8:30am group ride with the guys, so I loaded up my KLX, and my quad, and gathered up a few of the guys and my nephew and his buddy. Told my daughter I was off to "church" One peek out the window and she was smirking at me !! Who? Me?
We decided to ride down at the fahm. Our friends family has an 1100 acre spread for us to play on, no matter where you go as long as you stay out of the hay fields.
We had a mix of 3 quads (2 Hondas, 1 Polaris), 2 dual sports ( KLX-250 and a KLR-650 ), and a YZ 250.
We hit the breakfast buffet, loaded up on Carbs, and hit the trails

Once we unloaded it was time to get cracking, during early summer the fahm grows over pretty quickly, so the trails are wicked fun, not only trying to find them and stay on them, but to avoid all the dead fall.
This was one of the better trails that got us all up and rearing for more

All that effort to get around a little mud puddle

One of the nice things about the fahm
Is the built in motocross track
Of course that always gets the adrenaline pumping

His voice was kinda high pitched after this landing
DSCN1431.jpg?t=1244514769
The KLX does fly
DSCN1433.jpg?t=1244514856
This track is well built. The berms are steep banking, and tight, you have to really motor around them

Ya just cant stop playing in here, very addicting.
( hey, that fat obastid looks familiar. . . )
DSCN1446.jpg?t=1244515027
Everyone wants to ride the KLX
DSCN1453.jpg?t=1244515301
So I let everyone ride it
I think they like it
Even the heavier quads get in on the flight plan
After a couple more laps around the track, and a few hard miles of trail riding, we hit the pond, pulled under the trees,

#2
And went for a swim
Oh yea, it felt as good as it looked. We had a few snacks, rested up, dried off and aired out a bit
And got ready for some more riding
Thats the tree we just spent an hour relaxing under. As you can see, wide open space, makes for a great breeze blowing through
And enjoyed plenty of
It took a bit to get the mojo back
But we ended up trail riding some more, then had to go back to the track, just cause we all weren't aching enough yet or something silly like that. ( me thinks we was just having to much fun )
Lets just get these things in the air
Testing the lift off on a step-up
To much lift maybe ????
Of course he couldnt be shown up by an old guy
All of a sudden we have been there for 7 hours, and everyone is draggin a$$ and thinking about next weekends ride.
Except for me, I head of to Laconia for Bike week !! A week of chromed out cruisers and black leathers. Ya, I fit right in.
