With the closing of riding areas and the popularity of bikes, quads and 4 wheelers the trails are getting crowded. It's difficult to find places to take your kids/beginners where you're not getting run over. Jackasses on trails also don'thelp the image of the sport any either.

We spent three weeks in Oregon this July and it seems everyone has a toyhauler and three quads. The riding areas in the dunes are awesome. I'm sure it's a constant battle between naturalists and riders butit's nice thatthat there's still beach access to motor vehicles. Unfortunately it's something that I can't envision up here.
