Rode my 07 KLX250 for the first time today

Is this thing working?! Been trying to post all day/night and kept screwing up..
Anyways, just picked up an 07 KLX250S with 230 miles on it. I've never ridden a street bike before - just have a YZ125 I've been trail riding the past two seasons.
With the law man cracking down a lot, I decided to go the legal route, and found this KLX.
I went to DMV yesterday, registered it, insured it, and got my motorcycle learner's permit..
GOOOOD TIMES!! Man it's so fun riding the neighborhood! Also crusied through the local forest and ran some trails quick - seems good on trails but I think I need new tires
I can't wait to get home tonight to ride some more. Will also be commuting to work on it - I work 12 miles down a main back road.

sweet!!! the klx is more fun than my 750 streeter....

haha, main back road - I guess that is kinda contradicting
It's a main road, but not a highway.. one lane each side, 40-50mph limit, twisty and hilly..
Should be the perfect road to commute a KLX on!
