Default Rio from above

I was on vacation last month and took the time to enjoy my DTX a little more than the usual commute to work.
As most of you know (I guess!), I live in Rio and it's a beautiful city located in a privileged area with mountains. Needless to say it's a playground for supermotos with so many tight "twisted" roads going up and down these mountains.
Unfortunately, I still don't have a helmet cam, so pictures will do for now. But I just wanted to show the beautiful views you can have in a urban place like Rio. Hope you enjoy the pics.

I had no idea you lived in Rio, your location bar is empty. What do you do there?

Well, I was born here. In 1999, I moved to the US. Lived for 8 years in Marlborough, MA and 2 years in Keller, TX. Then, I moved back to Brazil in 2009. My wife's brazilian, but our son was born there in the US. I've actually learned english here in Brazil but, of course, it got better after I moved there. I love the US and I may go back one day.

Beautiful country there Malves! How do you say "lucky" in Portuguese?
When you get bored riding the sumo in those twisties, you're probably down at the beach.
NICE

What? For the bike, you mean? It used to be R$15,000. I paid R$14,600 for mine, 6 months ago. Now they go for R$13,200.

Yes, there is a Kawasaki factory in Brazil, but the D-Tracker used to be imported from Thailand. I don't think they'll keep bringing it or even start to assemble it at the factory. It's not a popular bike. I've seen only one on the streets another day and that was it.
