WOW!!! What a great report. Love the trails. I like trails where you dont know whats up ahead of the next corner, but there is something cool about being able to see a quarter mile ahead too. Again AWESOME!

I got Reservations at the Burgdorf Hot Springs cabins for Mid July. Going to check out Loone lake and the B-23 bomber crash site.

Thanks for the report, I would have never known it was there.

cmott, you won't get a response from Scott. He passed on in a terrible motorcycle accident while holding a beer in his throttle hand and was unable to get to the front brake while coasting downhill somewhere in Idaho. The investigation is still underway to determine if the beer was Pabst or Rainier.;)

Have fun on the ride this summer.:D

Just looked at Google maps and the plane is very visible from sat images. Sure would like to bike in there.

That's a fascinating story about the B23 crash and survival story. The B23 was an interesting melding together of the DC2 and the famous DC3 to make a bomber. Cool stuff.

Have a good time up there. Let me know when and maybe I'll take a spin up. This weekend would be great to snowmobile into Burgdorf for a soak.

Definitely Rainier. That's how you can differentiate me from the rest of 'em.
