What the hell is wrapped around his head pipe? First time I have heard of fastway...wonder how well made they are.

Not exactly what I would do, but I wouldn't call it bad. Looks like he took his time and did a neat job.
The swingarm is aluminum, it looks like he took it to bare metal and polished it. I have thought of doing that, but I don't know if I want to spend the time, it's a lot of work. Fastway pipe looks good to me.
The header is wrapped with heat wrap. It's supposed to increase hp. It keeps the exhaust gasses hot, and hotter exhaust gasses are supposed to be less dense, and flow quicker. I think many people put it on for the look.

I like what he did, dude is 46 which is 3 years older then me. He made it his own, it is unique, and I salute him.
