Remember muratic acid youcan get from Home Depot will remove the rust off just about any steel surface ie siezed piston material off cast iron cylinder bores, raw steel expansion chambers etc. should remove the rust from those stainless bolts in a fraction of a second & use maybe a q tip worth of muratic acid. I’d pull that stripped bolt & retap it for a helicoil/threadsert or similar. Highway dirt bikes has some of the sweetest designed hand guards with multiple mounting options that can clear your cables with ease. They are pricey tho but I dig the fold out mirrors. Acf50 works pretty good well better than wd40 as a rust inhibitor, it’s used inside aircraft wings & structures. Very effective on raw steel pipes

I am 5'8" on a tall day, I raced motocross in the 70s, rode the first Elsinor Honda then the first YZ Yamaha, was sponsored bu both the Honda and Yamaha Dealerships in my hometown in KY, we raced every weekend all during High School my last race was at Loretta Lynns Ranch. That had to have been 1975 and we just pulled up to the gate, into the pits, registered and we were racing. It was the big one, but nothing like today.
