Renthal Raptor bend bars
The bars look great Nobrakes.
Rumors have it that the MSR clutch perch and lever is a great thing to use on the 10r's also. How are the clamps on the MSR? They look kinda thin.

I was looking for some higher bars to so that I'd be in a better position when standing on the pegs and I settled on these Renthal "Raptor" bend bars. This is Renthal part number 6070101. I needed to reroute the clutch cable to the inside of the bar, though. Still works fine but if it was another few inches long that would have been better and could have left it alone. But if I didn't move it, the clutch would ever so slightly engage when the bars were turned all the way to the left. Moving the cable up by the gas tank to the inside of the bars took care of that small matter. They are a good bit higher and sweep back a little farther than my other Renthal bar which was an MX bar and I always felt it was just a tad low for me. Here's a few mandatory photos:

The larger adjuster is great - no problem adjusting it with gloves on and it clicks so you can tell how far you have adjusted it. Also, it has a plastic bushing between it and the bar so that you can bang on it with your fist to move it for fine tuning. Similarly, if you wreck or hit or hit a tree or something it will spin on the bar instead of breaking.
I like it a lot.

Them be the same ones I use (I think). Mine said "Raptor 80" which I took to mean the Yamaha Raptor 80 ATV.

Brian,
I just put these exact bars on My bike (because I liked the way yours turned out) and have a question on how You routed Your clutch cable. Can You describe how You had Your clutch cable routed? If You remeber?
Thanks

FYI,
A good reference guide for handlebar choices is the "free" catalog from Rocky Mountain ATV/MC. It has size charts for all the bars that they list. Thier catalog hotline is 1 800 481-6724.

That's the clutch cable running up along the bottom side of the handlebar on the left. I sold the bike to DirtSurfer this spring, so I don't know if that routing created any rub spots that might wear through or not. It seemed to still be working OK at the end of May and the NE ride. But if the clutch cable was about 4 to 6 inches longer, it would be better.

I'd highly recommend routing it the way Brian did!!!
Thanks Brian,
I'll mess with it some more tonight and try to route it like the photo.
