Default Renthal intellilever

Hi Guys,

Just bought a 2009 KLX250s and was woundering about renthal intellilevers. I noticed they say on thier website not for electric start. Does any know why they cant be fitted?

pretty cool design.... but if you have reinforced handguards you will never break or bend another lever.... unless ya really get messed up... i bet they are pricy.

i dont see how they cant be used for elec start..... the only thing i can think of is the clutch switch... so the bike knows when the clutch is in... but alot have by passed that anyway.... just dont hit the start button with it in gear with out the clutch in.... lol.... its funny to see though.

Hmmmm interesting. But what would prevent it from going the wrong way when you used it?

I'm not sure why these would be a better option then the stock levers with a good set of hand guards (Acerbis Ralley Pro in my case).

Cheers EMS 0525 i will have a look at the clutch switch although good hand gaurds are a cheaper option

Around 400 Dollars in New Zealand but you can get them out of the US for around 170USD

i was looking into those last night, i bent my lever the other day, look up asv's (maybe its avs), there like 100 dollars less. renthal can charge whatever they want cus "the have the name" if you know what i mean.
