Thats the best comparison I've seen. I really love the klx, and lookin ain't cheatin. Just wish the old girl could lose some weight.

Bet you could find someone local to trade their 300R for your 250S.

30 pounds lighter - 5 more ponies. 30 pounds is a lot, plus you still have the easy maintenance and low-down torque of the KLX. Lose the e-start though. 2004s and later you can start by hand with the ACR.

$160 for a dualsport kit and ride like the wind.
