refoaming my seat
My seat is too narrow and far too hard. I was going to take it to the guy I use for upholstery (Luis at Orange Coast Auto in Garden Grove, CA). He is really good and cheap too.
However, why not at least try to do it myself, seems easy enough. I stripped the cover off, basically only having to remove staples. I was careful with it as I plan to reuse this piece. Next is to shape my new softer foam. I'm going to try to make it about an inch lower as well.
Hopefully, it'll work and all is well and I saved myself some coin. If I fail, off to Luis as planned. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Going for more comfort I concentrated on having more square inches to sit on, thus having less pressure on my buns. I carefully removed the seat cover because I like it's non-skid characteristics. However for it to be reused, bolsters needed to be sewn on the sides so it could be re-stapled to the seat pan. For pictures and costs: https://www.kawasakiforums.com/forum...ication-42906/
