Hey, Ed. I'm getting better about posting rides in advance on the forum. Sorry we didn't get you involved sooner. It's about a month until we do the Arkansas Hillbilly Tour. Will you be joining us for that one? I hope our weather is as good as last year. That was awesome!

Well Shadetree. I reviewed the site and download the Garmin maps. I take it I need to come well prepared for this tour.

Well prepared? Why bother. Adventure starts when plans go awry. The less we prepare, the sooner we get adventure...and the farther we get to push. Ask Gary Scantlin. He pushed his gasless KDX about three miles in MX boots! Oh my aching feet...

Exactly what I mean. Some MSR fuel bottles, PVC Saddle bags, rain gear, pull-along winch, tools, a tube or two. As is, I ride the KLX bare with only the clothes on me. For a 200+ mile tour, I better come along better prepared.
