Hey ahnh666 I think i may have to agree with you, the 110 /140 combo may still be the best the SF!

I'm not totally convinced by these arguments guys, I need a little more detail about the handling characteristics to go out & purchase a 120 front tire.
With the lack of power on the street for a SuperMoto, the handling is very important to me!

Hows the bike feel at 90+mph? Any wobbles/slapping?
Does the bike still throw quick & predictably into mid/fast corners?
etc etc

Thanks

I wobble because the avon distanzia wobbles above 70 mph. I hit a curb at 7mph (110) and bent my rim out of tru. No such problems with the 120. Unless you are going to be throwing turns at 85mph, the heavier turning on the 120 is not going to be felt.

Thx for the replies re:120 Pirelli diablo rosso front tire.

I'll give it a go!! I recon if the steering is to slow I can raise the forks in the trees by an inch to lower the front end, which will change the geometry of the bike & speed the steering up if necessary!

If that isn't satisfactory "handling wise" before or after playing with the forks, my tire shop says ....if i do less than 20kms on the tire he will take the tire back less a 15% charge & re-sell it. win win!!

140 BT090 just clears the swingarm and rubs a few mm,s into rear chain guard, so 150, no go.
