I like the way the Edge tail light kit looks on the late model KLXs but how do you clean up the look of a 2006 model with the way the rear fender is shaped ?

Would a 09 fender fit a 2006 model?

I did a search and couldnt find anything.

 

maybe a kx fender with the edge system might look pretty good...if it'll fit

 

I saw a post a couple of days ago and someone from here had used a Maier KLX300 MX rear fender + Edge tail light system on a 06. It looked really good. Not sure if anything had to be modified though.

Do a search and you should find it.

 

I have a 07 but it looks the same. I used a Cycra KX250/450 rear fender, trimmed the frame and added a Edge tail light. cleans it up nice.

Yes you use about 1/2 of the fender. Where is angles up to the side panel it is cut straight across. Then I used the stock piece under the seat. And thank you for the comment, she is my baby. LOL

You can use a Maier klx300 rear fender and put on a slick led tail light....I used a Baja Designs light.

Finger I still think that is one of the best looking KLX bikes around.

My klx has to be the ugliest but rather practical klx on this forum...
I think the stock plastic looks way better, I am just too cheap to pay for it.
