My rear stock 603 is shot. But I have plenty of tread on the front 603. What is a good rear tire to match the front 603?

I have the Dunlop D606 in a 120/90, it is a taller tire and will change the gearing a tad - but excellent tire!

 

Sorry to sound stupid, but how does it change the gearing? High or low?

 

If you do any off roading get rid of thatfront stock tire . That 603 sucks off road.[:'(] It dose make a pretty good on-road tire. I never had 606's but I have heardgood things about them. I replaced my front tire with the Excella and I love it. The bike handle sooo much better off road now but their is a little more road noise, oh well small price to pay I guess.....

 

Just put a D606 out back and go ride......

 

+1 on what onestarr said. If you do any off roading get rid of the the stock front tire and replace it with something else. It will be the best $50-$75 you spent on the bike. I am currrently running Kenda trackmasters front and rear. 110 out back, and for what they cost and the off and on road handling they provide I will replace them with the same when needed.
