range with clarke tank
Took a 5 hourride with my new clark tank. I rode with a xr650 with a 4 gallon clarke tank and we had the same range. Since the xr uses more fuel we were near empty at the same time.

RE: range with clarke tank
Well, Dmar,
Excuse me for this very Iowaesche response, but that is **** poor range. 90 miles is no better than stock, so I'd sayyour guess is off by quite a bit.
My apologies for being rude, but if you don't keep accurated track of your mileage, the information is absolutely worthless. What is "I went just as far as an XR650 with a 4+gal tank supposed to tell us? [:'(]

RE: range with clarke tank
On a ride a couple of weekends ago, I topped off the Clarke tank (before it started leaking) and rode a mix of smooth dirt rodes and rough 4x4 trails (and just a touch of pavement). Hit reserve at 105 miles and finished the ride at 110 miles. I'm not sure how gasoline was left, but I'm satisfied with the range. Now if they can just provide me with one that doesn't start leaking after a month or so of use.
