It's fine to let anything sit with gas for a short while, the bike was rode at least every three weeks or so, I just lost track of how much. My sons bike has sit longer and fired up second kick. My lawn mower will have been idle since mid October and won't be fired up for another month or so and it will be fine also, but thanks for your concern. I have never drained any other fluids out for the winter and never will.
