Anyone install these dual sport handgaurds with DOT turn signals?

Yes I bought mine a couple of months after I got the bike. The lights are pretty small, but I guess they work ok.

I put a pair on the stock handlebars, too. Instead of bashing out the internal weight, I drilled and tapped it. In hindsight, bashing it out might have been easier. (This applies to mounting any handguards on the stock handlebars, not just the Acerbis Dualsport ones.)

I added the spoilers, like in Deej's photo. They cut the wind very nicely, but I don't yet know how resilient they are against branches. (Haven't done any "drop-testing" yet, either, but the handguards themselves feel pretty sturdy, so I'm not worried.)

The original wiring was a little sloppy, so I did a couple mods (it comes with twoindividual wires that exit fromeach all-rubber light socket
1) Encased both wires into 1/4" diameter heat-shrink tubing, and slid the tubing over the end of the rubber tab on the light socket before shrinking. Now the wires are a single black bundle without any exposure.
2)Drilled a small hole in an inside rib on eachguard to tie-wrap the wire bundle, about half way between the light socket and the inside mounting bracket.
Nomore loose wires!

Hey Deej,

I like the hole you did for the front brake line ... I just noticed it recently in another photo, but long after I did my "C Section".

Very clean! [sm=smiley20.gif](Which shouldn't be a surprise to anyone!!! )

I have them on my bike but i have renthal bar's,i dont know if they are DOT approved but they went on easy,
they flex a little i dropped my bike and the end came off my brake lever,
but they do solve the problem of the ugly turn signal's
