I have had no problem just ordering them from the dealer. Are you guys sayign that you can't just drive to the store and buy them? You make it sound like they are being discontinued when really you just want them cheap, right?

To save 70$ I've been running with the left shroud zip tied together frankenstein style for at least a year.

I'm sorry, Highbeam, but you're going to have to remove those shrouds or pay dan888 a patent fee. He filed patent rights along time ago on the zip tie deal. However, I think the two of you should post pics to see who really has the most impressive "Frankenstein" appearing setup. Last I remember, dan's were pretty freaky looking...or is that "franky" looking?

You got me beat. My shrouds are black and the black zip ties blend really well and my break is not nearly as bad.

All the mangled stickers help blend the zip ties in

Isn't sad how TNC lets me suffer on with these pathetic remnants of what were once beautiful Kawasaki shrouds, when for the cost of half a bottle of cheap tequila he could ship me the dusty shrouds he isn't using.

dan, their pristine condition is exactly why I'm protecting them for posterity. One day in the future we will want to know exactly what an unmolested set of shrouds actually looked like. Heck...I might even get myself noticed in a magazine article or such.

OK , well I hope you have them mounted above the fireplace in your library, until the time the Smithsonian comes knocking...
