Rack recommendations.
I am interested in adding a rear rack to my 250S. I narrowed the choices (I think) to the Nomadic, Moose or Borrego TCI. Are you happy with what you have? What don't you like. Also easy installation is a factor. Thanks.
These are VERY different racks!!! You have to decide what YOU want...
Personally, I wanted a minimal rack. I chose the Nomadic. I am VERY happy with it. It's built well, installs easily, and is just the right size that I wanted. A bungee web net fits over it perfectly!
I did NOT want a huge rack that stuck over the sides of the bike and would get bent up if (when) I let the bike "sleep" for a while out on the trail.

2nd the Nomadic. It's been on for 1.5 yrs, 10,000km; and it is still fully intact. I use it for hauling fuel, gear, & beer. It's sturdy enough to use as a hoisting point and it has also served as a grab bar for dragging the bike out of the mud on many occasions too.
I have the Nomadic rack as well, and am very happy with the quality and usability.

I don't carry a lot on my bike other then an occasional bag. So this is the one I got...

I bolted a black square plastic drain lid to my stock rack. It's the same square dimension as the 1.5 gallon motopac gas can. Sounds dorky, but actually looks pretty good. Cost $17 bucks.

I've installed a TCI Borrego rack; well made & easy to install. It has a large surface area with good anchor points. I have a Ventura Imola 22 litre bag that collapses down to 15L (as shown in pic).
