Yep, I gave him the ol' MIND PUNT! He was fine, I guess he just wanted to look at the pretty flowers. I talked to him afterwards and he said he knew someone was back there and I guess the pressure finally got to him.
I was faster through the course, but not fast enough to pass and he'd gap me on the straight.

Truth is, I was going to stuff him on the next turn being last lap and all anyway!

Also want to give a quick shout out to JoelThailand for setup help and advice!

This is my first season racing, but I've been doing track days for 5 years now. I corner marshall for XCEL Trackdays | Arizona's best track days for all skill levels so I get my track time for free :)

Excellent. I like it when people who race also help put on races or work in some function to promote that racing continues. A lot of people don't understand that. Many of us do the same thing for enduro racing. You've got lots of people who come to an event, pay money, and never give a second thought as to how these events get pulled off. Venues like the Indy 500 probably make lots of bread, but most stuff that mere mortals can afford to compete in require lots of volunteers. Good on you and good luck with the racing.

Ah! I found some on-board footage of one of my track sessions! I didn't think I had my camera on for this one.
The telemetry is not exact, but pretty close.
